Unlucky, i had missEd an hour of the filming because i got off at the "totally" wrong bus stop but i have meet the animator that do stop motion. I see him having condensation with my classmate that also like stop motion animation. There are also other profession animator have come to join the festival.
Glossy trailer
Any way, i started my program at 'Glossy', the epic by Julia Bourke. It is an interesting stop motion and musical style animation. The character's characteristic is easily define, also it fits their image. For example the hair jell guy is cool. I also enjoy the song very much.
Others also interesting film were: The cartographer by Jane Shadbolt (I don't really understand what the theme was, but there it is a surprise ending at the end), Rippled by Darcy Prendergast (I have seen this as the subscribed email before but still i feel amazing.), Golden hour by Lucy Fahey (I like the story and the concept that i observe), Real people by Meredith Uborkr (Well conflict inside the character, also a good end but a bad end for the shop keeper XDDD), Nullarbor by Alister Lockhart, Patrick Sarell (One of the enjoy one, i feel like the rabbit and turtle racing at the start XD, and a sad end for the people who lost their car.), Barn Owl by Anna spencer (I like songs and poem that are rhyme, the poem form animation is same as Gob the space cadet but it is giving more message have going in, also the animation gives another scene to the poem it self.), The last photo by Lissa Pascale (A beautiful story). There are still a lot film is interesting but it will be a bit bored to list all of them. Is good to show something.
